Nuts!
Hearty and Healthy. Rich in Oil, Full of minerals, proteins and vitamins.
Nuts scream fall to me.
I like to toast almonds and toss them with a little bit of Curry powder. Or maybe try a sweet and salty spice mix. Because of the high oil content raw nuts should be stored in an airtight container then placed in the freezer. The oil in the nuts can turn rancid if left at room temperature.
